of the Year
Award
Cape Town, 30 October 2007 –
Woolworths, one of Africa’s largest clothing
and food retailers has named PIC Solutions as the Woolworths IT
Services Supplier of the Year.
Woolworths has traded for over 75 years and
has more than 330 stores throughout Africa and the Middle East.
Its holding company, Woolworths Limited, is one of the top 100
companies listed on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange.
All of the IT Services suppliers were
carefully reviewed by Woolworths for this annual award across a
wide range of measures, including consistently providing
innovative solutions that supported and enhanced the Woolworths
Business.
The award went to PIC Solutions in
recognition of the excellence of the IT professional services
team dedicated to provide ongoing support and maintenance to
Woolworths for their VisionPLUS®,
TRIAD™
and StrategyWare®
software systems. The winner of the award in 2006 was Microsoft.
