2004 – PIC Solutions has assisted
Woolworths Financial Services (WFS) with the successful upgrade
of their VisionPLUS Account Processing
System from release 2.5 to release 8.14. This upgrade, which is
the first of its kind in South Africa, was implemented in July
2004.
PIC Solutions assisted
this leading financial services organisation with their planned
upgrade from release 2.5 to release 8.14 of VisionPLUS,
the world`s leading account processing system. This system
upgrade was a highly-complex 12-man-year project during which
close on 2000 system components were created or customised and
more than 8000 system components were migrated. In addition
approximately 200 000 000 data records were converted. PIC
Solutions personnel, using their extensive experience of the
VisionPLUS software and of previous VisionPLUS
conversions, complemented the WFS project team to effect this
upgrade.
