PIC Solutions Co-Authors Credit Scoring
Book
Cape Town, 2 September 2004 -
PIC Solutions has once again joined forces with Windsor CME to
co-author and sponsor a new Credit Scoring book.
Windsor CME is a management consultancy that
specialises in innovative solutions for the consumer credit
industry. The first edition of the Credit Scoring book received
a tremendous response from the credit community and PIC
Solutions is delighted to be selected as the official co-author
of this second edition.
This book covers the latest trends in credit
scoring techniques and technologies, offering the reader a new
perspective on practical credit scoring. “Credit Scoring: The
Principles and Practicalities” emphasises how scorecards can
be implemented successfully using best practices and focuses on
the basic principles that are important in developing
scorecards.
Additional chapters focus on the more
advanced issues surrounding scoring, including in-house
scorecard development and problem solving strategies. Practical
examples throughout the book will ensure that readers gain a
greater insight into how scorecards work. The book, “Credit
Scoring: The Principles and Practicalities” is now
available and can be ordered through the Windsor CME website
www.windsorcme.co.uk.
Murray Bailey, Managing Director of Windsor
Consulting, comments, “We were delighted by the response we
received for the first Credit Scoring book. The credit industry
is constantly changing and we needed to publish a book that
covered all aspects of credit scoring. This Credit Scoring book
is required reading for anyone in credit. It builds a foundation
in the basic principles of credit scoring and also emphasises
the practical issues associated with scorecards. We enjoyed
working with PIC Solutions on this project and we look forward
to writing the next book with them on “Consumer Credit
Quality: Underwriting, Scoring, Fraud Prevention and
Collections”.”
Stephen Leonard, Managing Director at PIC
Solutions, adds,” PIC Solutions is excited to be the
lead-contributor and sponsor of this landmark risk management
publication. This book not only focuses on practical issues
impacting scorecards but also covers the basic principles that
are important for developing a scorecard. The PIC team enjoyed
being involved in the Credit Scoring book and contributing to
the credit community and we look forward to the future success
it will bring to members of the credit industry.”
