Assignments may be conducted on a stand-alone project basis,
with fixed costs and agreed deliverables and milestones, or as
part of an ongoing retainer-based contract.
The PIC ICT Consultant, comparable to a Programmer in other
companies, is required to work directly with clients onsite or
remotely as part of a development team. The position requires
travel to client and partner sites in South Africa and the EMEA
Region.
PIC Solutions provides software support to clients in South
Africa and the EMEA region from offices based in Cape Town, Dubai
and Johannesburg.

Experience

At least 10 years of ICT experience,
the last 2 in a team leader or project manger capacity,
preferably in the credit systems environment.
Exposure to the retail and banking environments will be an
advantage and experience with VisionPLUS and/or TRIAD would be
preferred.
Education
Training
-
The initial training period would be
for 4-6 months in the Cape Town office, working closely with
Senior ICT Specialists and Department Managers.

After 3-4 months, the Senior ICT
Specialist would be gradually given clients as secondary
responsibility.
-
Training would continue on-the-job and
would typically be completed after 6 months, when the Senior ICT
Specialist would be expected to service
a full complement of clients.
