As part of our network of international alliance partnerships, PIC provides initial and ongoing consulting support for FICO’s TRIAD system. TRIAD is the leading account management system in the world. It is a sophisticated product that combines Software, Behaviour Scoring and Risk Strategies, enabling clients to maximise the profitability of their accounts. This is achieved via effective decision and action policies to control credit limit management, collections on out of order accounts (delinquent, overlimit, credit dormant, etc.), authorisation of POS/ATM transactions, marketing campaigns, card issue/facility renewal and performance based pricing.
 
PIC Solutions provides consulting support to 9 TRIAD end-user clients in South Africa:


Credit cards: Absa Bank, Standard Bank
Retailers: Edcon, Foschini, Truworths, Woolworths, Ellerine Holdings, HomeChoice
Customer Level: Absa Bank


These clients are serviced from offices based in Cape Town, Dubai and Johannesburg. More than 280 client portfolios across 6 continents use TRIAD to drive more than 44 billion account and customer decisions annually.
 
The Consultant is a liaison that consults with TRIAD clients regarding day-to-day service, training, strategy design and results analysis. Consultants may be asked to contribute and participate in industry conferences as well as group training sessions. The position requires travel to client and partner sites in South Africa and also the EMEA Region.

Requirements

  • Develop new systems as required

Experience

  • 3-4 years experience in programming and design of systems

  • Experience of a variety of languages and systems is an advantage

  • Knowledge of the VisionPLUS account processing system and the TRIAD account management system would be a distinct advantage

Education

  • Minimum of Grade 12 with recognised certificate/diploma in COBOL programming

Training

  • The initial training period would be for 4-6 months in the Cape Town office, working closely with Senior ICT Consultants and ICT Experts.

  • After 4-6 months, the trainee would then be gradually given clients as secondary responsibility.

  • Training would continue on-the-job and would typically be completed after 12 months, when the ICT Consultant would be expected to service a full complement of clients.

  • This role can lead to the position of ICT Specialist.
